Step back in time and create a piece that feels like a forgotten treasure found in a vintage European market or postcard section of an antiques shop.

This workshop focuses on soft, dreamy, romantic aesthetics of classic oil-style floral paintings. Soft, timeless piece for cottagecore and vintage charm lovers.

The Workshop Flow

Working on professional grade 100% cotton textured paper, we will build a soft, hazy background and deep, muted leaves using fluid high-grade watercolours in a palette of dusty, muted blushes, sage greens and warm sepia undertones. From there, you will learn how to use velvety, opaque gouache to build soft-focus loose rose and peony bouquets that feel delicately aged. To complete the heirloom vintage look, we will finish the rough paper edges with shimmering metallic gold. Even if you are a total beginner, we will guide you step-by-step on how to work with watercolour and how to create soft impressionistic flowers.
