While classical still life can often feel technical, this 3-hour session will teach you how to create a bold, dynamic look using a limited but impactful colour palette on canvas. Thanks to strategic techniques balancing thinner ‘scraping’ layers with thick palette knife work, we will be sure to complete this piece in one session.

The Workshop Flow

During this hands-on workshop, we focus on two key techniques: using a limited palette to create a striking sense of sunlight and shadow, and mastering the contrast between thin and thick sculpted paint layers that give the vase and flowers their rich texture.
