Studio Ghibli Inspired Landscape

Imagine yourself in the magical world of animation and learn how to paint your own Studio Ghibli inspired summer evening landscape.

While these iconic backgrounds are traditionally painted with gouache, this 3-hour session will teach you how to recreate this nostalgic look using acrylics on canvas. Thanks to a few clever tricks and the fast-drying nature of acrylics, you will easily walk out with a completed painting (30×30cm—perfect for claiming a prime spot on your work desk!).

The Workshop Flow

During this hands-on workshop, we will focus on two key techniques: using color and light to create a sense of aerial perspective, and mastering the signature stylized botanical elements that make these landscapes feel so dreamy.

Whether you are a beginner looking to try a new style, or simply have a soft heart for Ghibli art, you will learn to build depth and atmosphere step-by-step.
