Lose yourself in the quiet poetry of Monet’s most celebrated masterpiece. Inspired by the legendary Water Lilies series, this 3-session workshop invites you to slow down, observe, and paint beyond detail—capturing instead the fleeting beauty of light, colour, and atmosphere.

Designed to be approachable for both beginners and experienced painters, you’ll learn how Impressionist artists suggest form through expressive brushwork, layered colour, and soft transitions. Watch your painting gradually emerge as reflections dissolve into water and lilies drift across a tranquil surface.

More than a painting lesson, this workshop is an invitation to experience the joy of painting freely, intuitively, and without perfection.

Workshop Flow

Over three sessions, you’ll build your painting layer by layer, exploring colour harmony, atmospheric blending, and Impressionist brushwork techniques. Learn how to create the illusion of water, reflections, and floating lilies while discovering how subtle shifts in colour can evoke mood, depth, and light.

You’ll also explore the balance between observation and interpretation—the very essence of Impressionism.

Drying Time

As this workshop uses oil paints, your artwork will require time to fully cure. You may choose to leave your painting safely at our studio for approximately one week before collection, or take it home with you on the day of the workshop.

What’s Included

All painting materials and tools, including canvas (choice of 30cm x 40cm / 40cm x 50cm), artist-grade paints, brushes, apron, and everything you need to complete your artwork.
